A striker who posses speed and agility, Zlatko Dedic works hard up front but lacks the goal scoring ability to make a significant impact for club and country. Dedic started his career with Slovenian club Koper, where he only appeared three times during his year-long stay. In 2001, he was signed by Italian team Parma but failed to impress, his lack of form meant he was loaned out to two clubs during his time there. Firstly, he was loaned to Serie B club Empoli in 2004 and then Cremonese in 2006. In search of first team football he left Parma for Frosinone of Serie B in January 2007 on a Bosman transfer. With no luck there either, Dedic ended his dreadful stay in Italy and signed with German club Bochum in 2009, and is contracted with them until June 2012. He has made over 20 appearances for them and enjoys regular first team football. Dedic made his debut for Slovenia on 28th March 2008 in a 2010 World Cup qualification match against Czech Republic. He scored his first international goal against Poland, also in a World Cup qualifier and was instrumental throughout.
