Career Highlights:

Landsteiner has qualified for his first Olympics, and he's looking to continue his emergence as one of the United States' top young curlers. Slated to be the lead on John Shuster's team, Landsteiner has a reputation for earning medals. He's won the bronze in each of the last two U.S. championships while claiming silver in the previous two at the junior level. He won three Wisconsin junior playdowns in 2008, '09 and '11, while claiming the Illinois installment in 2007. He also proved to be a force in the Minnesota state high school championships, winning it three times (2004, '06 and '07), but he lacks international experience. Landsteiner finished sixth at the 2011 world junior championships, and his only other international tournament came while qualifying for the Sochi Games as the team officially clinched the final berth by beating the Czech Republic 8-5 in the playoff in December.
