LONDON (AP) Zhang Jike of China won the men's Olympic singles table tennis gold medal on Thursday.
Zhang defeated Wang Hao 4-1 in an all-China final. Dimitrij Ovtcharov of Germany defeated Chuang Chih-Yuan of Taiwan 4-2 for bronze.
Li Xiaoxia of China won the women's singles gold medal Wednesday in another all-China deciding match.
China has dominated table tennis since it was introduced at the Olympics in 1988. It has won 22 of 26 gold medals in the sport and is expected to win two more to sweep the team event in London.
