  • Career Highlights: Feigen will make his Olympic debut in the 400 freestyle relay after taking fifth in the 100 freestyle at the U.S. trials. He also took fifth in the 50 meters. The San Antonio native was the 2012 NCAA champion in the 50 and 100 freestyle and the 400 freestyle relay. As a senior at Texas in 2011-12, Feigen also was an All-American in the 100 butterfly, 200 medley relay, 400 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay, finishing fifth or better in each event. During his time in Austin, Feigen was named an All-American 24 times and won 18 Big 12 championships, including the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 400 freestyle relay and 200 medley relay as a senior. Born in Hilo, Hawaii, Feigen won gold in the 100 meter freestyle and the 4x100 freestyle relay at last year's World University Games as well as silver in the 4x100 medley relay. The kinesiology major has aspirations of becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
