Career Highlights: After missing out on qualifying for the 2008 Games by less than one second, Kukors will making her first Olympic appearance as a world record holder. She placed third behind Katie Hoff and Natalie Coughlin in the 200-meter individual medley at the 2008 U.S. trials, finishing eight hundredths of a second behind Coughlin for the second Olympic spot in the event. She was second at the trials in June to earn a spot this year, and it will be the only event in which she competes in London. Kukors set the world record of 2:06.15 at the 2009 world championships. She has won two golds, three silvers and two bronzes in international competition.
