Career Highlights: Since she started rowing as a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania in 2001, Francia has won five world titles and an Olympic gold medal. She was part of the eight boat in Beijing that finished first and was named women’s world rowing crew of the year. Francia also helped the U.S. eight win the 2011 world championships, and was part of the Americans' world-record effort (5:54.17) this year. Francia, who moved to the U.S. from Hungary when she was two years old, was named USRowing’s female athlete of the year in 2010. She was also named to the women’s world rowing crew of the year in 2009, when she won gold in the eight and pair at worlds. Francia finished fourth in the eight at the 2005 worlds, first in that event in 2006 and 2007, and third in the pair in 2010. She also took 12th in double sculls at the 2006 worlds at Eton Gorney - the site of the London Games. Francia has signed with Wilhelmina models.
