Career Highlights: Before becoming a U.S. citizen in 2006, the native of Australia represented his home country in three Olympics and four world championships. Dutton won team gold at the 1996 and 2000 Games with True Blue Girdwood and House Doctor, respectively, and was fifth individually in the 2002 FEI World Equestrian Games with House Doctor. He also represented Australia at the Athens Olympics in 2004. Dutton has been runner-up at the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event six times, and was second, fourth and fifth in 2005. He won the Fair Hill International CCI3* for the second time in 2007 and represented the U.S. at the Pan American Games that year, winning individual silver and team gold. He also competed in the 2008 Beijing Games. Dutton will be riding Team Rebecca’s Fernhill Eagle, Bruce Duchossois’ Mighty Nice and Jim and Arden Wildasin’s Mystery Whisper. Dutton has experience with all of the horses, including a second-place finish in the Fair Hill International CCI3* and another completion of the Rolex Kentucky CCI4* with Fernhill Eagle. He and Mighty Nice won the CIC2* at Red Hills International, and both traveled to England to complete the Blenheim CCI3*. Dutton and Mystery Whisper just collected their third three-star victory of the spring in the CCI3*. Dutton has been based in Pennsylvania since 1991 and lives there with his wife, Evie, her daughter, Lee Lee, and their twin girls, Mary and Olivia.
