Career Highlights: Davila earned a spot on the United States team by finishing second in the U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials on Jan. 14 in Houston with a time of 2:25:55. She burst onto the scene in 2011, finishing in second place at the Boston Marathon with a time of 2:22:38 - the fastest ever by an American woman at the event. She had a strong showing at the 2011 USA Championships, finishing fourth in the 10,000 meters and sixth in the 5,000 meters. In the 2010 USA Championships, Davila finished third in the 10,000 meters, and she was fourth in the 3,000 meters at the 2010 USA Indoor Championships. She finished fourth in the 2010 Chicago Marathon with a time of 2:26:20 and fifth in 2008 with a time of 2:31:33. At the IAAF World Championships in 2009, Davila finished 11th in the marathon with a time of 2:27:53 - the best by an American woman. She ran to a 10th-place finish in the 3,000 meters at the 2010 World Indoor Track Championships.
