  • Career Highlights: Two-time USA indoor champion DeLoach is expected to challenge for a podium finish in the long jump in London. Having experienced great success at the college level at Colorado State University, DeLoach won the USA indoor championships in 2011 - a title she successfully defended in 2012. With Brittney Reese dominating the event on the American and world stage, DeLoach achieved relative success with a silver at the USA outdoor championships in 2011 as well as competing at her first world championships - finishing sixth. Second only to Reese at the 2012 world indoor championships, the silver medal means that DeLoach has to be considered a major player in London - although surprise qualifier Chelsea Hayes beat her for second place at the U.S. trials. Russia's Anna Nazarova and Yelena Sokolova are likely to be the biggest threat to the American trio, but a Team USA sweep is not impossible.
