- Career Highlights: Holliday earned her first trip to the Olympics after finishing second in the pole vault with a jump of 4.55 meters at the U.S. trials at the University of Oregon. “I have dreamt about being an Olympian for as long as I can remember and this is just amazing,” said Holliday, who won the NCAA title in the pole vault as a senior at Oregon in 2003. She has earned two silver and two bronze medals in U.S. outdoor championships, and two silvers and a bronze in U.S. indoor championships. Her best outdoor jump came at the 2010 USA championships, when she cleared 4.60 meters to finish second.
