Career Highlights: Davydova is a four-time Olympic gold medalist, winning in the duet and team competitions in 2004 and '08. After taking up the sport at age six, she began competing at the junior level in 1999 and quickly began dominating the scene. In 2001, Davydova was paired with Anastasia Ermakova and the two won a silver medal in the duet event at the FINA world championships _ her first in international competition. Since then, she's captured gold in duet and team competitions in the 2003, '05, '07, '09 and '11 worlds. Davydova graduated from Moscow University in 2002 with a degree in economics.
