Career Highlights: Danilochkina did not have very high expectations when she earned a spot on the Russian national team for the 2010 world championships. She had a solid performance in her first tournament for Russia, averaging 6.1 points and 1.9 rebounds while giving her team a big boost off the bench. But now, she is a big reason why Russia is expected to be a medal contender at this Olympics. The sharpshooting guard emerged as a star after earning a gold medal and an unexpected MVP award at the 2011 European championships. She averaged 13.9 points and made 18 of 33 from 3-point range to help Russia claim its spot in London. Danilochkina has played for four different professional teams in the Russian league and is currently with Nadezhda Orenburg. Injuries have sometimes plagued the combo guard, who averaged 10.8 points to go along with 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists for the Orenburg in 2012.
