Career Highlights: Fedoriva began her career specializing in hurdles and now competes mainly in sprinting disciplines. This will be her second Olympic appearance after she helped Russia's 4x100 meter relay team race to the gold medal in 2008. She also competed in the 200 in Beijing and was eliminated in the semifinals. Following those Olympics, Fedoriva went on to capture five medals in major events, including a pair of golds in the 200 at the 2009 European Under-23 Championships and the 2010 Continental Cup. She also secured a bronze in that distance at the 2010 European Championships. This season, Fedoriva won silver in the 400 and helped her team earn bronze in the 4x400 at the world indoor championships. She is the daughter of Andrey Fedoriv, who competed in the 4x100 at the 1992 Barcelona Games and ran the 100 and 200 at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
