Marco Fabian Mexico

  • Country: Mexico
  • Sport: Soccer
  • Height: 5'8" / 1.73m
  • Weight: 152 lbs / 68.9 kg
  • Born: 7/21/1989
  • Career Highlights: An emerging star for Mexico, Fabian is known for darting into the offensive third, creating scoring chances and finding the net on his own. His passing ability, quickness and work rate make him a dangerous offensive option even from deep positions. Those skills were on display during CONCACAF's Olympic qualifying earlier this year, as his five goals tied teammate Alan Pulido for the most at the tournament. Fabian netted a hat trick in a 7-1 romp of Trinidad and Tobago during the group stage. His exploits at the youth level and with CD Guadalajara are reasons he’s had the privilege of appearing for the full national team, albeit on a limited basis. He’ll likely become a key member of the team during World Cup qualifying, and a strong performance at the Olympics would surely help in guaranteeing his inclusion on the squad. He was a member of the team that went to the 2011 Copa America, but was one of seven players sent home after breaking a team rule that involved bringing prostitutes to the team hotel.
