Career Highlights: Indian rower Manjeet Singh made the cut for the 2012 London Olympics when he and his partner finished in third place in the Lightweight Double Sculls at the Asian Continental Qualifying Rowing Regatta. He was a part of the Indian contingent at 2008 Beijing Olympics as well, partnering with Devender Kumar Khandwal. But, unfortunately, they finished last in their heat and failed to qualify for the finals. This time round, Singh will partner Sandeep Kumar and will be hoping the change will help him produce a decent performance at the London Olympics. Coming from the Artillery Centre in Golconda, Manjeet has been training hard for these Games at the Hussain Sagar Lake in the National Rowing Camp under the guidance of Ismail Baig who is a former Dronacharya Award winner.
