Career Highlights: Vom Lehn burst onto the international swimming scene as a teenager at last year's world championships, taking a bronze medal in the 200-meter breaststroke in 2:09.06 after breaking 2:09 at the German nationals. Now 20, he may be ready to make an even bigger splash in London. Vom Lehn has certainly proven he knows how to win, having taken gold medals in the 200 breaststroke at the European Junior Championships in both 2009 and 2010. He barely missed a medal in that race at the 2010 Youth Olympics, finishing fourth, although he did help Germany win bronze in the 4x100-meter medley relay. He could be a candidate for his country in that relay again after winning the 100 breaststroke at the German trials in 1:00.89.
