- Career Highlights: One of Spain’s most versatile road and track cyclists, Rovira made a big splash in 2011 when he won the Championship of Murcia road race. One year later, his best chance for a medal in London could come in the omnium even though he finished 10th overall in the six-race endurance event at the 2012 world championships. His best finish in that event came with a second in the points race. He also placed a respectable fourth in the scratch portion of the event. Rovira finished 10th overall in the omnium during a test event held at London's Olympic velodrome.
