Career Highlights: Fox is set to make history by becoming Australia's youngest Olympic canoeist when she competes in the K-1 slalom event at just 18 years old. Her early success is not a complete surprise given her strong bloodlines in the sport. Her father, Richard, won 10 gold medals in the slalom world championships while competing for Great Britain and finished fourth in the K-1 at the 1992 Barcelona Games. He moved to Australia in 1998 to be the country's coach for the Sydney Olympics two years later and has been a part of the national program in various capacities since. Fox's mother, Myriam Fox-Jerusalmi, competed in slalom events for France. Fox herself won gold at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games and took silver at this year's Oceania Championships to qualify for London.
