Career Highlights: Konyot's family spans five generations of horsemanship, and she is continuing that lineage with her own success. Starting at a very young age, she has not stopped trying to improve her skills. She was fortunate enough to spend five years in Europe training under numerous professionals and won the Grand Prix at the Palm Beach shortly after. Konyot will be riding her own Calecto V in London, her first Olympic appearance. After narrowly missing out on the 2000 and 2004 Games, she feels confident that the pair can medal. In Calecto V's first Grand Prix Freestyle, Konyot guided him to the win in 2009. In 2010, the pair went on an incredible run, winning eight Grand Prixs - seven consecutively. In 2011, Konyot and Calecto V were second in the Grand Prix Test behind WEG teammate Steffen Peters, who will also be competing in London. Konyot and Calecto V started 2012 by winning the Grand Prix Freestyle and finishing second in the Grand Prix Test at the Gold Coast Opener, and the pair will look to carry that momentum to London. Konyot teaches and trains at her farm in Connecticut and at her parents' farm in Florida.
