Career Highlights: Huddle owns the distinction of running the fastest 5K ever by an American female, clocking in at 14:44.76 at the 2010 Memorial Van Damme Diamond League meet. She won the 2011 USA outdoor championship with a time of 15:10.01, and was leading with 100 meters to go at the 2012 U.S. trials before ultimately being passed down the stretch by Julie Culley. Culley finished in 15:13.77, while Huddle took second in 15:14.40 to earn her first Olympic berth. Huddle was a nine-time All-American at Notre Dame after being the only member of her high school cross-country team. At Notre Dame High School in New York, Huddle set a national high school record in the two-mile run with a time of 10:01.
