Career Highlights: Graves will make his Olympic debut at Eton Gorney after being named to the quadruple sculls crew with Elliot Hovey, Wes Piermarini and Alex Osborne. He will bring plenty of international experience to London, having finished 16th in double sculls at last year’s world championships and in 2009. In both years he won the world trials. Graves, who took second in double sculls at the 2008 Olympic trials, was a standout rower at Trinity College, where he was named the college’s male athlete of the year as a senior. The Cincinnati native, who graduated in 2007, won the varsity eight at the 2006 ECAC championships and took gold in the freshman eight two years earlier. Graves’ father, Harry, and brothers, Tom and John, also rowed at Trinity.
