Career Highlights: Willis will be making his first Olympic appearance, competing in the RS:X division in London. He began sailing competitively in the 420 as a junior sailor, ultimately being recognized as one of the top sailors in that class. However, he more recently found his true passion of windsurfing, which led him to take off a semester while attending Connecticut College to devote his time to Olympic preparation. He placed third at the 2008 Olympic trials but failed to qualify for the Beijing Games. He has been sailing full-time since graduating in 2009 with his sights set on London.
