  • Career Highlights: A 10-year veteran of the U.S. national team, Colwill is competing in his second Olympics. He participated in the individual and synchronized 3m springboard events in Beijing in 2008, narrowly missing the medal stand in synchronized as he and partner Jevon Tarantino finished fourth. Colwill placed 12th in the individual springboard event in '08, but held the distinction of attempting the most difficult dives in the finals. Colwill is a 10-time national champion - most recently in 2012 in the individual 3m springboard. While in college at the University of Georgia, he garnered 2006 NCAA diver of the year honors after becoming national champion on the 1m and 3m springboards, and placing second on platform. Colwill has 60 percent hearing loss, but has said the condition can work to his advantage in competitions.
