- Career Highlights: Paumen is a midfielder for Dutch club HC Den Bosch and captains the Dutch national team. She helped the Netherlands win a gold medal at the 2008 Olympics, scoring a record 11 goals - including three in a semifinal win over Argentina. Two years later, Paumen was the top scorer at the Women's Hockey World Cup with 13 goals, and she enters London on a roll: She was the International Hockey Federation's 2011 player of the year after helping the Netherlands get back to the top of the world rankings, recorded a hat trick at the FIH Champions Trophy title game in 2011 and won player of the tournament with six goals. Her Dutch team came up short at the 2012 Champions tournament, coming home with the bronze, but she had four goals in the third-place effort.
