Blues sign Langenbrunner to 1-year contract
ST. LOUIS (AP) The St. Louis Blues have signed Jamie Langenbrunner to a one-year contract and traded another forward, B.J. Crombeen, to Tampa Bay for future draft picks.
The 36-year-old Langenbrunner had six goals and 18 assists in 70 games last season. The 17-year veteran played in his 1,000th career game last season and has added leadership to a team that posted 109 points.
The 27-year-old Crombeen was traded along with the Blues' fifth-round draft pick for the Lightning's fourth-round picks in 2013 and 2014. Crombeen had a goal and two assists along with 71 penalty minutes in 40 games last season.
