Flames re-sign Swedish forward Mikael Backlund
CALGARY, Alberta (AP) The Calgary Flames re-signed Swedish forward Mikael Backlund to a one-year, $725,000 deal on Thursday.
Backlund had four goals and seven assists in 41 games for Calgary last season. He has 15 goals and 31 assists in 138 career NHL games with the Flames.
