Analysis: Voynov has been suspended for the past 70 games following his arrest on domestic violence charges. The two-time Stanley Cup champion is allowed to work out at the Kings' training complex without his teammates during his suspension. Voynov apparently was injured during Los Angeles' lengthy road trip, which ended Monday. The Kings didn't know any other details about Voynov's condition, but a torn Achilles tendon typically requires several months of rehabilitation.

City News Service says Voynov pleaded not guilty to a felony domestic violence charge at his arraignment Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court. A judge set a preliminary trial date of March 2 for the Russian Olympian.
Analysis: Police say the two-time Stanley Cup champ choked and hit his wife and pushed her into a TV in their bedroom after an argument that began at a Halloween party on Oct. 19. A cut over her eye required eight stitches. Defense lawyers say Voynov's wife wrote a letter to prosecutors saying her injuries were an accident, though a judge didn't accept that evidence during a preliminary hearing. Voynov is currently suspended from the NHL.

Analysis: Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Hector M. Guzman ruled there was enough evidence again Voynov to allow the case to proceed. Guzman issued his ruling Monday after a preliminary hearing in which a police officer testified that Voynov's wife described her husband choking her repeatedly, punching her in the face and pushing her into a flat screen TV.

Analysis: Voynov was charged with felony domestic violence two weeks ago. The Russian Olympian is barred from all team activities under the terms of his suspension, which began after his arrest on Oct. 20.
Nov. 20 12:56 PM PT1:56 PM MT2:56 PM CT3:56 PM ET20:56 GMT4:56 AM 北京时间1:56 PM MST3:56 PM EST0:56 UAE (+1)15:56 ET - Voynov has pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of domestic violence against his wife.
Analysis: The Russian Olympian's preliminary hearing was scheduled for Dec. 15. Voynov and his attorneys didn't speak to reporters after the brief court appearance. Prosecutors sought a no-contact order between Voynov and his wife, but the court declined. Voynov's wife is still living with him, and has said she doesn't fear him. Voynov has been suspended by the NHL since a few hours after he was arrested Oct. 20.
Nov. 10 2:43 PM PT3:43 PM MT4:43 PM CT5:43 PM ET22:43 GMT6:43 AM 北京时间3:43 PM MST5:43 PM EST2:43 UAE (+1)17:43 ET - The NHL says it hasn't reached an agreement with the players' union about salary-cap relief for the Los Angeles Kings stemming from Voynov's legal situation.
Analysis: The defenseman was accused of domestic violence and arrested Oct. 20. He has been suspended with pay since and has not been charged. He is due in court Dec. 1, and the Los Angeles district attorney has until then to file charges. During his suspension, $4.17 million is counted against the Kings' salary cap. Los Angeles has twice had to play with 17 skaters instead of 18 because of cap problems.

Analysis: Craig Renetzky said Wednesday he is hopeful the NHL will end Voynov's suspension after reviewing the events that led to Voynov's arrest on Monday morning. Voynov hasn't been charged with a crime by Redondo Beach police. The NHL still suspended him indefinitely with pay on Monday, an action firmly supported by the Kings.

Analysis: The league says he was arrested Monday morning but isn't providing other details. He will be paid during the investigation.
