Analysis: Anderson has been downright dreadful recently, posting a 4.89 GAA in his last four starts despite going 2-1-1. All of those starts came at home, where he has an .879 save percentage this season compared to .962 at home. Ottawa's only other two games this week come at home.

Analysis: Ottawa didn't break the game open until the third period, so Anderson's sharp effort went a long way towards the club's second straight win on its Western Canada trip. After a shaky season opener, the veteran netminder has yielded three goals on 83 shots over a strong three-game stretch.

Analysis: Anderson notched his first win after opening with a pair of shootout losses. The Sens are in Calgary on Friday and Edmonton the following night, so expect Anderson to get his first day off of the season in one of those contests. He has surrendered four goals in each of his last five starts against the Flames and has stopped 68 of 69 shots in winning his last two games versus the Oilers.
Oct. 8 10:55 PM PT11:55 PM MT12:55 AM CT1:55 AM ET5:55 GMT13:55 10:55 PM MST12:55 AM EST9:55 UAE1:55 ETNaN: BRT - Anderson turned aside 29 shots in the Senators' 2-1 shootout loss to Detroit on Saturday.
Analysis: The 36-year-old was much sharper than his season debut, when he stopped just 24 of 28 chances in Thursday's loss to Washington. Coming off a very solid 2016-17 campaign, Anderson still figures to remain a dependable fantasy goaltender when healthy.
Sep. 29 1:53 PM PT2:53 PM MT3:53 PM CT4:53 PM ET20:53 GMT4:53 1:53 PM MST3:53 PM EST0:53 UAE (+1)16:53 ETNaN: BRT - Anderson agreed to a two-year, $9.5 million contract extension Friday that will pay him $5.5 million in 2018-19 and $4 million in 2019-20. The 36-year-old was set to become an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
Analysis: Anderson said he and wife Nicholle talked about his contract situation over the summer and agreed the best thing would be to remain in Ottawa. When Nicholle was diagnosed with a rare form of throat cancer last season, the organization gave Anderson the support he needed both on and off the ice allowing the young family to be together during its time of need. He was 25-11-4 with a 2.28 goals-against average in 40 games last season.
