Nov. 21 5:59 AM PT6:59 AM MT7:59 AM CT8:59 AM ET-Aebischer is expected to leave Phoenix's AHL affiliate San Antonio and play in Europe, according to the Arizona Republic. The goaltender, who started the season with the Coyotes before being sent to the Rampage, made just one appearance this season - a 3-0 loss at Columbus on Oct. 10. Aebischer was expected to compete for the Coyotes' No. 1 spot after signing a one-year deal in July, but Phoenix went mostly with Alex Auld and Mikael Tellqvist.
Analysis: This is another move the Coyotes have made to the goaltending position in the last few days as Auld cleared waivers on Tuesday and was sent to San Antonio. The team also added Ilya Bryzgalov on Saturday, and he could emerge as the team's top netminder after a posting a shutout in his debut.
Oct. 24 5:45 AM PT6:45 AM MT7:45 AM CT8:45 AM ET-The Arizona Republic reported the Coyotes have waived Aebischer, but the team would not confirm or deny the report. If Aebischer clears waivers, he will either return to the Coyotes or be assigned to San Antonio of the AHL. Aebischer stopped 30 of 33 shots in Phoenix's 3-0 loss on Oct. 10 at Columbus. He was expected to compete for the Coyotes' No. 1 goaltending spot after signing a one-year deal in July, but Phoenix has mostly gone with Alex Auld and Mikael Tellqvist.
Analysis: Aebischer is 106-74-5 with 12 ties, a 2.52 goals-against average and .912 save percentage in 214 games, including 198 starts. He spent last season with the Montreal Canadiens, winning 13 games.
Oct. 11 10:36 PM PT11:36 PM MT12:36 AM CT1:36 AM ET-Aebischer made 30 saves in his season debut, but the visiting Coyotes lost, 3-0, on Wednesday night at Columbus. Aebischer fell to 7-1-0 with a 1.12 goals-against average and .963 save percentage in eight starts against the Blue Jackets. The Coyotes had signed Aebischer to a one-year contract in July after he spent last season with the Montreal Canadiens.
Oct. 9 6:10 AM PT7:10 AM MT8:10 AM CT9:10 AM ET-Aebischer is expected to start when the Phoenix Coyotes visit the Columbus Blue Jackets, The Arizona Republic reported. It will be Aebischer's debut with the Coyotes after they signed him to a one-year contract in July. Aebischer has won all seven of his starts with a 0.85 goals-against average and .971 save percentage against Columbus. He has three shutouts in the series.

Analysis: Aebischer, entering his seventh NHL season, has a 106-73-12 record with a 2.51 goals against average in 213 career games with Colorado and Montreal. In the 2003-04 season with Colorado, he went 32-19-9 with a 2.09 GAA. The 29-year-old Swiss goalie was 13-12-3 with a 3.17 GAA in 32 appearances for Montreal last season. He was acquired by the Canadiens in a trade that sent Jose Theodore to Colorado a year ago.
