|After an outstanding senior season at North Carolina, Brown enters the draft as one of the best - and fastest - linebackers available. Brown led the Tar Heels with 105 tackles in 2011, finishing second on the team with 5 1/2 sacks to go along with three forced fumbles and three interceptions. Brown, who posted a school-record indoor 60-meter time of 6.72 seconds while running track in 2009, showed off his blazing speed at the NFL combine, where he finished tied for 11th among all defensive players and second at his position with a 40-yard dash time of 4.50 seconds. Brown, however, may have hurt his stock a bit by posting lackluster results in the broad jump (116.0 inches) and vertical jump (33.5 inches). With good size and a great frame to go along with his remarkable speed, Brown currently projects as a second-round pick. While much has been made about his physical attributes, Brown likely needs to improve his work ethic if he hopes to be a star at the next level; adding a bit of muscle could also be key. Brown, who has never been a full-time starter for an entire season, could struggle with his transition to the pros, but he certainly has what it takes to eventually make his presence felt.
