Scouting Report

Zoosman, 21, is a 6-foot-7 wing who made a name for himself in the summer of 2018 when he led the Israeli national title to the gold medal at the Under 20 European Championship with a win over Croatia in the title game. He was on the team that won the silver medal at the U-20 championships a year earlier.
Zoosman was selected the MVP of the 2018 tourney, averaging 14.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. He had 17 points and 11 rebounds in the championship game, with 25 points against Spain in the quarterfinals.
He was 17 when he made his EuroLeague debut, playing one game for Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv during the 2015-16 season. Zoosman played 14 games for Maccabi FOX Tel Aviv in the 2017-18 season and 30 games during 2018-19, averaging 3.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 14.2 minutes.
He is trying to become the third Israeli to play in the NBA and the second to be drafted, the other being Omri Casspi in 2009.
He has played for Israel at every age group and has been playing at the highest level of European competition, so NBA scouts should have a good handle on his skills. Zoosman works well off the dribble and in the pick-and-roll game, which is a good fit for today's NBA.
In a relatively small sample size at the EuroLeague level, he shows good shooting range (16 of 43 3-pointers, 37.2 percent) and knocks down his free throws with a smooth stroke.
He's able to combine his reported wingspan of 7 feet, 1 1/2 inches with natural instincts and a high basketball IQ, making him a plus defender capable of guarding at least three positions. Zoosman has significant intrigue as a 3-and-D role player in the NBA.
Projection: Second round/undrafted
