| A consensus five-star recruit, Baldwin elected to play under his father at UW-Milwaukee for what would be his lone season of college basketball. |
| The 6-foot-9 guard only played in 11 games during his freshman season due to an ankle injury. His absence hampered the Panthers, who went on to go 10-22, finishing ninth in the Horizon League. |
| Baldwin averaged 12.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists while shooting 34.4 percent from the field and 26.6 percent from 3-point range. |
| Strengths: Excellent size at his position while maintaining a high level of mobility. Uses that size to his advantage in the post. Has a fundamentally sound jumper with a quick release. Has shown promise as a sharpshooter from 3-point range despite lackluster numbers during his freshman season at Milwaukee. Strong playmaking ability and can be effective off the ball. Does a good job of limiting turnovers. Ability to be a tenacious rebounder. Possesses good court vision. Stays under control while playing a mature brand of basketball. |
| Weaknesses: Lacks explosiveness and could be better at creating his own opportunities on offense. Sometimes tends to be too passive. Could expand his game beyond just scoring. Also needs to find more diverse ways to put up points. Often takes questionable, highly-contested shots. Should strive to draw more contact at the rim. Does not have adequate lateral quickness around the perimeter. Injuries could be a cause for concern, as he also suffered a season-ending injury during his senior year of high school in addition to the one in his only season at Milwaukee. Underperformed in college. |
