| He earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors after taking a big leap from his freshman to sophomore campaign. |
| Walker averaged 14.6 points and 9.4 rebounds last season -- up from 7.6 and 4.3, respectively -- in 33 games while racking up 17 double-doubles. |
| Walker shot 46.1 percent from the field and scored in double digits 30 times while raising his stock. He is viewed as a solid second-round draft pick. |
| Strengths: Walker was vastly improved at age 19 last season and there is plenty of optimism that he will only get better. He is a solid rebounder at 6-8 and should be able to hold his own when battling for boards. Has good athleticism and could play small forward but power forward figures to be his best long-term spot in the NBA. He knocked down 39.9 percent of his 3-point attempts in college and made 59 in 59 career games. Should be an asset at the free-throw line after hitting 78.3 percent over two seasons. |
| Weaknesses: There are questions about if he is ready to make the jump as he averaged just 14.2 minutes as a freshman before his break-out sophomore campaign. His defensive skills are behind his offensive game so he could be a liability early on in his career. Not good with the ball and his 76 turnovers (against 41 assists) last season jump off the stat line. The ball-handling troubles mean he will be the type of player who quickly passes the ball to a teammate before trouble arrives. Doesn't have a major burst when he makes that first move off the dribble. He'll need more seasoning before he eventually becomes a contributor and possible starter. |
