Scouting Report
| Rollins emerged as one of the best mid-major players in the country this past season, being named to the Lou Henson Mid-Major All-America Team in addition to being a First-Team All-MAC selection. |
| The 6-foot-4 guard led the Rockets to their second-most wins in a single season in program history (26), scoring in double figures in 32 of his 34 games. |
| He averaged 18.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.6 assists and shot 46.8 percent from the field before declaring for the draft in April. |
| Strengths: Is a well-rounded offensive player who can stuff the stat sheet. Has the potential to be a lethal shooter. Attacks the rim under control and is able to muscle through contact. High level of ambidexterity allowing him to finish with both the left and right hand. Great passer with advanced playmaking skills. Does not shy away from the mid-range game, often pulling up if opposing teams fail to get back on defense. Possesses a quick first step that allows him to create his own scoring opportunities. Above-average rebounder for his size. Harasses ball handlers and finished with a team-high 59 steals last season. |
| Weaknesses: Was not in a conference as talented as some of the conferences other guards on the board were in. Tends to have a score-first mentality, so could focus more on distributing the ball to his teammates. Room for improvement from 3-point range. Level of athleticism might not be at NBA standards just yet. Needs to continue developing defensively. Slightly undersized, especially if he is to be used as an off-guard. |
