Scouting Report
| Williams was named the 2020 Arkansas Gatorade Player of the Year before choosing to stay local, attending Arkansas over TCU, Oklahoma State and Auburn. |
| He took on a much larger role in his sophomore season, starting 35 of 37 games and serving as a key contributor during the Razorbacks' NCAA tournament run. Williams posted double-doubles in all four of Arkansas' tournament games which included a 19-point, 10-rebound performance in the season finale. |
| The 6-foot-10 forward/center averaged 10.8 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.1 blocks and shot 46.1 percent from the field in his final season with the Razorbacks. |
| Strengths: Strong two-way player. Especially flexible on the defensive end, as he can guard multiple positions. Handles the ball well for a big man and can set his teammates up to score via the pass and through off-ball screens. Is a workhorse down low, playing at least 30 minutes in 25 of 37 games last season. Quick hands. Not afraid to challenge opponents at the basket. His strong foundation allows him to frequently set his feet to take charges. Led the NCAA with 54 drawn charges his sophomore season. Uses his frame to his advantage to box out opponents and has become an adept rebounder. Good instincts. |
| Weaknesses: Needs time to develop as a shooter outside of the paint. Sometimes fails to be active on the offensive end. Tends to be passive shooting the ball, as he took just 8.3 shot attempts per game last season. Could benefit by putting on more muscle to compete with bigger bodies at the next level. Does not have elite length. |
