Scouting Report

For a player measuring 6-foot-11, Bitadze can get up and down the court. That's often the first thing that makes an impression.
He likes mixing it up in the interior. He can find various ways to get the ball to the rim and he has developed a nice mix of moves in the lane. That has been done out of necessity because when matched up against others his size he's not likely to outjump the competition.
But reports list him as a confident shooter from up to 18 feet, so that's something to factor in.He understands the necessity to be a primary rebounder and that's a responsibility that he tends to take seriously. He played with the Georgia national team, so he has some international experience.
Scouts like how he has built his body into a pro-looking athlete and that could help him. It also makes some observers figure that he could maintain the ability to play a physical style.
When he's forced to play against superior competition, it will be intriguing to see how he handles that and if he's able to adjust accordingly. That's one of the unknowns that could be a drawback.
He'll turn 20 years old later this summer, so there's time to allow him to continue to build what appears to be a solid basketball base.
