James, Bosh held out of Heat game, Wade injured

MIAMI (AP) LeBron James was out of the starting lineup Saturday night against Washington, resting in preparation for the playoffs.

Dwyane Wade started for the Miami Heat but went to the locker room less than 3 minutes into the game with a dislocated left index finger.

With the postseason starting next week, Chris Bosh was held out for the third straight game.

James is treating some minor bumps and bruises but feeling fine, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. James led the Heat in scoring each of the past 12 games.

Bosh has been dealing with minor ailments, and the Heat hope to have him back before the end of the regular season Thursday, Spoelstra said. Center Ronny Turiaf sat out with a sore hamstring.

The Heat went into Saturday's game chasing Chicago for the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
