Hornets' Gordon to play vs. Rockets

NEW ORLEANS (AP) Hornets coach Monty Williams says shooting guard Eric Gordon is in the lineup against Houston for New Orleans' home finale on Thursday night.

Gordon, who returned this month from arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and has played only seven games all season, was rested for Monday night's victory at Charlotte and Wednesday night's loss at Memphis.

Gordon is averaging 20.1 points and the Hornets are 5-2 when he is in the lineup. Williams says he cannot yet discuss whether Gordon will play in any of the Hornets' final three games on the road.

Rockets spokesman Nelson Luis says Marcus Camby is expected to start despite a sore back while Kevin Martin is available but not expected to play because of a sore shoulder that has sidelined him 10 games.
