MIAMI (AP) Miami's Dwyane Wade will play, while Chicago's Derrick Rose will rest Thursday night when the Heat play the Bulls in a game with significant Eastern Conference playoff implications.

Also out for Miami: Chris Bosh, who was on the inactive list posted about an hour before tipoff. Bosh also sat out Wednesday's win over Toronto with what Miami coach Erik Spoelstra described as "minor bumps and bruises."

Rose, the reigning NBA MVP, will sit for the 26th time in 63 games this season, including 16 of the last 19.

"He's feeling a lot better today but he's still not quite there, so just going to be patient," Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau said. "When he's ready to go, he'll go."

The Bulls' Luol Deng will play, after missing Chicago's most recent two games with sore ribs.

Wade has missed 14 games this season with a variety of injuries, with Miami going 13-1 in those games. He also sat out Wednesday when Miami rolled past Toronto.

With a win Thursday, Chicago would wrap up the No. 1 seed in the East playoffs for the second straight year.
