Analysis: The team says Budinger was cleared on Monday and will start doing more running on the court in addition to some cutting and jumping on his surgically repaired left knee. Budinger will be re-evaluated in two to three weeks, putting his return to the court likely closer to the end of March. He tore the lateral meniscus in his knee in the sixth game of the season. The loss robbed the Wolves of a much-needed perimeter shooter and versatile swingman.
Nov. 11 5:53 PM PT6:53 PM MT7:53 PM CT8:53 PM ET1:53 GMT9:53 AM 北京时间6:53 PM MST8:53 PM EST5:53 UAE (+1)02:5320:53 ET7:53 PM CT23:53 - Budinger will miss the next three to four months while recovering from surgery to repair a torn lateral meniscus in his left knee.
Analysis: Dr. James Andrews performed the surgery Tuesday, three days after Budinger was injured in a game against the Chicago Bulls. Budinger emerged as a valuable perimeter player in his first season in Minnesota. He is averaging 11.8 points and had helped fill in for Roy, who has missed two straight games with knee soreness.
Nov. 10 9:47 PM PT10:47 PM MT11:47 PM CT12:47 AM ET5:47 GMT1:47 PM 北京时间10:47 PM MST12:47 AM EST9:47 UAE06:470:47 ET11:47 PM CT3:47 - Budinger converted a layup on a feed from Andrei Kirilenko with 0.8 seconds to go, lifting the Timberwolves to a 96-94 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Friday night.
Analysis: Budinger finished with 18 points and could be in line for a much bigger role if Brandon Roy (knee) is forced to miss time.
