He faces up to 180 days in jail when he is sentenced Jan. 14. Lawson also was arrested for drunken driving in Los Angeles in July.
Analysis: A Denver judge in July ordered the 28-year-old to complete a 30-day residential treatment program at Cliffside Malibu, a celebrity rehabilitation center in California, before allowing the case to proceed. The same month, the Nuggets traded Lawson to the Rockets.

Analysis: Lawson was arrested in Los Angeles on Tuesday and is scheduled to stand trial in a Denver DUI case next month. After his January arrest in Denver, Lawson was ordered not to drink alcohol and not violate any laws as part of his bond. Prosecutors now are asking a judge to require him to use a device, such as an ankle bracelet, that monitors the body for alcohol.
