Analysis: The former NBA MVP left the team on Nov. 22 after being sidelined with a sprained left ankle. His latest injury had Rose contemplating whether to continue playing, but the Cavs said Monday that Rose has rejoined the team to resume treatment and rehabilitation. There is no timetable on when he'll return to the court.
Nov. 9 5:56 AM PT6:56 AM MT7:56 AM CT8:56 AM ET13:56 GMT21:56 6:56 AM MST8:56 AM EST17:56 UAE14:568:56 ET7:56 AM CTNaN: - Rose, who has been out with an ankle injury, has been excused from the Cavaliers to handle a personal matter. He hasn't been with the team since Wednesday and there is no timetable on his return, but ESPN is reporting that the former MVP is ''re-evaluating his future in the NBA.''
Analysis: Rose hasn't played since Nov. 7 because of a sprained ankle and also missed four games in October because of the injury. Repeated injuries are weighing on Rose with a team source telling ESPN, "He's tired of being hurt and it's taking a toll on him mentally." Rose was the 2011 NBA MVP as a member of the Bulls before multiple knee injuries derailed his career.
Nov. 7 7:12 PM PT8:12 PM MT9:12 PM CT10:12 PM ET3:12 GMT11:12 8:12 PM MST10:12 PM EST7:12 UAE (+1)04:1222:12 ET9:12 PM CTNaN: - Derrick Rose scored 10 points Tuesday, going 4 of 10 from the field, as the Cleveland Cavaliers topped the Milwaukee Bucks 124-119. Rose pulled down one rebound and had two assists, tallying a plus-minus of 0 in his 25:23 of playing time.
Nov. 5 3:58 PM PT4:58 PM MT5:58 PM CT6:58 PM ET23:58 GMT7:58 4:58 PM MST6:58 PM EST3:58 UAE (+1)00:5818:58 ET5:58 PM CTNaN: - Derrick Rose scored 10 points Sunday on 4-of-12 shooting as the Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the Atlanta Hawks 117-115. Rose grabbed three rebounds and added an assist, tallying a plus-minus of -27 in his 19:43 of playing time. He added one block.
Analysis: Rose will remain on a minutes restriction all season, according to ESPN. Rose, with a history of injuries, can play between 28-31 minutes now. He missed four games with a sprained left ankle, and is averaging 15 points in six start. His workload will decrease anyway when Isaiah Thomas returns from a hip injury.
Nov. 3 6:42 PM PT7:42 PM MT8:42 PM CT9:42 PM ET1:42 GMT9:42 6:42 PM MST8:42 PM EST5:42 UAE (+1)02:4221:42 ET7:42 PM CTNaN: - Derrick Rose scored 20 points Friday on 8-of-16 shooting as the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Washington Wizards 130-122. Rose pulled down one rebound and dished out two assists, tallying a plus-minus of +5 in his 28:33 on the floor. Rose went 2 of 4 from behind the arc.
Analysis: Rose's assist numbers continue to be practically non-existent, but he's averaged 18 points while shooting 53.5 percent from the field in three games since returning from a sprained ankle. The former NBA MVP should at least continue to be a factor as a scorer until he inevitably gets hurt again.
Nov. 2 9:59 PM PT10:59 PM MT11:59 PM CT12:59 AM ET4:59 GMT12:59 9:59 PM MST11:59 PM EST8:59 UAE05:590:59 ET10:59 PM CTNaN: - Derrick Rose scored 19 points Wednesday on 9-of-13 shooting as the Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the Indiana Pacers 124-107. Rose pulled down four rebounds and added an assist, accumulating a plus-minus of -9 in his 28:51 of playing time.
Analysis: The sprained ankle that kept Rose out of four recent games hasn't affected his scoring, as he's tallied 34 points in two outings since returning to action. The oft-injured point guard hasn't done much in other fantasy categories, though, as he's accumulated only seven assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in his four games.
Oct. 30 7:32 AM PT8:32 AM MT9:32 AM CT10:32 AM ET14:32 GMT22:32 7:32 AM MST9:32 AM EST18:32 UAE15:3210:32 ET8:32 AM CTNaN: - Derrick Rose scored 15 points Sunday, going 6 of 14 from the field, as the Cleveland Cavaliers lost to the New York Knicks 114-95. Rose grabbed three rebounds and dished out three assists, tallying a plus-minus of -22 in his 31:00 of playing time.
Analysis: Rose will put up some points if he's healthy, but for a starting point guard to have six assists in 85 minutes of court time is pretty pathetic.
Oct. 20 7:02 PM PT8:02 PM MT9:02 PM CT10:02 PM ET2:02 GMT10:02 7:02 PM MST9:02 PM EST6:02 UAE (+1)04:0222:02 ET9:02 PM CTNaN: - Rose (sprained ankle) will return for Sunday's game against the Knicks.

Rose pulled down four rebounds and had two assists, accumulating a plus-minus of -14 in his 31:15 of playing time. Rose went 1 of 3 from behind the arc.
Analysis: Rose didn't have great shot selection in his Cavs debut but still showed some explosiveness. He's adjusting to a new team so it will likely take some time before his all-around game rounds into form.
July 20 8:23 AM PT9:23 AM MT10:23 AM CT11:23 AM ET15:23 GMT23:23 8:23 AM MST10:23 AM EST19:23 UAE17:2311:23 ET10:23 AM CTNaN: - A person familiar with the decision says Rose has agreed to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Rose, a former league MVP who has battled knee injuries, will get a one-year contract at the veteran's minimum of $2.1 million, said the person who spoke Monday to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the team has not announce the agreement.
Analysis: Rose played for the Knicks last season and averaged 18 points and 4.4 assists. The 28-year-old's role with the Cavs is still to be determined. He could be used as a backup or start depending on what the team does with All-Star Kyrie Irving, who recently asked for a trade.
July 3 3:27 PM PT4:27 PM MT5:27 PM CT6:27 PM ET22:27 GMT6:27 3:27 PM MST5:27 PM EST2:27 UAE (+1)00:2718:27 ET5:27 PM CTNaN: - The former MVP met with the Bucks and could end up in Milwaukee by participating in a sign-and-trade deal with New York that would get him there.
Analysis: Rose averaged 18 points in 64 games last season with the Knicks, but would likely back up Rookie of the Year Malcolm Brogdon with the Bucks.
