Analysis: Rose already five four games this season with the same issue, and it's likely something that will linger throughout 2017-18. Considering the Cavs have a minus-12.3 net rating when Rose is on the court, perhaps they'll be in no rush to bring him back.

He missed four games with a sprained left ankle, and is averaging 15 points in six start. His workload will decrease anyway when Isaiah Thomas returns from a hip injury.

Analysis: Rose's assist numbers continue to be practically non-existent, but he's averaged 18 points while shooting 53.5 percent from the field in three games since returning from a sprained ankle. The former NBA MVP should at least continue to be a factor as a scorer until he inevitably gets hurt again.

The oft-injured point guard hasn't done much in other fantasy categories, though, as he's accumulated only seven assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in his four games.

Analysis: Rose played for the Knicks last season and averaged 18 points and 4.4 assists. The 28-year-old's role with the Cavs is still to be determined. He could be used as a backup or start depending on what the team does with All-Star Kyrie Irving, who recently asked for a trade.
