Analysis: Daniels was acquired from New Orleans in September in a cost-saving move. The Timberwolves gave him permission to seek a trade and did not play him in the preseason. Since no deal could be completed, the young and rebuilding Wolves waived the 12-year veteran. Daniels is in the final year of his deal that will pay him $6.6 million this season. |
