Analysis: Sessions will be brought in to help mentor rookie point guard Frank Ntilikina and could open the season as a starter if the Knicks don't add to the position. The 31-year-old likely won't be a high-end one if that's the case, as he averaged just 6.2 points and 2.6 assists in a reserve role with Charlotte last season.

The Hornets, though, may take their time getting him back into game action.
Analysis: The finishing point of the original 4-to-6 week recovery time has passed, so it appears Sessions should be back contributing very soon. With Brian Roberts struggling as the backup point guard, the Hornets could use Sessions back in that role as they remain within striking distance of a playoff spot.

Analysis: Sessions figures to have some value until Walker returns.
