Analysis: The 34-year-old Lewis spent the past two seasons mostly coming off the bench in Miami. He averaged 4.5 points last season. He was expected to back up Dirk Nowitzki at power forward. Lewis has played 16 seasons since skipping college to enter the draft and going 32nd overall to Seattle in 1998. He has career averages of 14.9 points and 5.2 rebounds.

He played for Seattle (1998-2007), Orlando (2007-10) and Washington (2010-12) before the last two seasons in Miami. Lewis has averaged 14.9 points and 5.2 rebounds in his 1,049 career games.

The box score from Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals says Lewis did basically nothing in his 17 minutes of action Saturday. Lewis had no points, no rebounds, no assists and no steals in Miami's 99-87 win over Indiana - and the Heat outscored the Pacers by 21 points when the veteran forward was in the game, mainly as a defender.
Analysis: Since plus-minus started being charted, no one ever was better than a plus-10 in an NBA playoff game without generating any points, rebounds, assists or steals.
