Rockies recall Friedrich from Colorado Springs
DENVER (AP) The Colorado Rockies have called up left-handed pitcher Christian Friedrich from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Friedrich will make his Major League debut in his start Wednesday at San Diego.
The Rockies optioned right-handed pitcher Adam Ottavino to Colorado Springs to make room on the roster.
