Nationals OF Carroll heads to Triple-A Syracuse
WASHINGTON (AP) Outfielder Brett Carroll has been outrighted to Triple-A Syracuse by the Washington Nationals, and he accepted the assignment.
The Nationals announced the move Tuesday.
Carroll was designated for assignment April 14, when the Nationals brought center fielder Rick Ankiel off the 15-day disabled list.
