Analysis: The team initially reported the injury as forearm- and wrist-related but now list the issue as deGrom's elbow -- not a great sign for the two-time NL Cy Young Award winner, although an MRI did not show any structural damage. Texas has won all six games started by deGrom, but he has been limited to 30 1/3 innings. He has a 2.67 ERA with 45 strikeouts and four walks, including a 1.35 ERA in five April starts. |
