Analysis: Ruf led the minor leagues with 38 homers last season and earned the nickname ``Babe'' in the process. He moved from first base because that's Ryan Howard's spot in Philadelphia. Ruf's adjustment to a new position is taking longer than hoped and it seems he's ticketed to start the season in Triple-A. He says he's ``come a long way'' and continues taking extra fielding drills in spring training. |
